Chris Hemsworth, who is an
Australian actor born on August 11, 1983 is best remembered for his role in the film Thor. The movie required

Thor, the actor is asked to live on earth among the humans and under these circumstances the actor learns to become
a true hero. To get into the right shape, Hemsworth requested Michael Knight to become his personal trainer.
Finally the trainer agreed to become his trainer and the actor’s workout regime was divided into two parts. The
first part focussed on low-rep moves, high weight as it was a type of body-building work out. The second part was
designing total-body circuits done to shift the excess fat along with muscle maintenance.
The actor admits himself that getting into the right shape was a difficult task he had ever
done. His one of the routine exercises includes kettlebell which was a combination of weightlifting and cardio
exercises. It was very hard because he had never done such a type of rigorous exercise before. He mainly did
boxing, Muay thai and some weight lifting which was a great way to build functional strength. Along with these

• Part 1 – eight week bulking plan
-1st week – 4 sets, 4-6 reps
-2nd week- 4 sets, 6-8 reps
-3rd week- 4 sets, 8-12 reps
-4th week- 4 sets, 4-6 reps
- repeat the above for 5 to 8 weeks.

- Snatches- eight rounds
Circuit two
- Kettlebell swings-: 30 sec right-hand-only swings, 30 sec alternate swings, 30 sec two-hand, 30 sec
left-hand-only.
- Cleans-: 5 left, 5 right, 4 left, 4 right, 3 left, 3 right, 2 left, 2 right, 1 left, 1 right, after this back up
5 on each side and 60 reps without any rest.

He obtained 20 lbs in a time span of less than three months. The director of the movie wanted
the actor to become as big as possible but finally the actor became very tall and heavy. The director found that
the actor had become too heavy so he asked him to lessen his weight. Chris Hemsworth Workout consisted of
